As I’ve written in other posts, one of my favorite episode formats is to interview a chocolate maker – especially when they’re checking in from a producing country – and taste and respond to their work, *live*. I was in Colombia in 2022 and spent my time in Bogota (the airport), in the north in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, and in the northwest between Monteria and Necocli. I took the locations Nataly sent me and pinned them on the map below to help get a sense of the range and diversity of Magno’s sourcing practices. **Format** The first half of the episode will be spent in the interview with Nataly, exploring the history of Magno, inspirations, chocolate in Colombia, and more.
