- Description: A ruling is expected before the end of the term in this long-running and highly consequential case.

Originally two separate cases filed in California fifteen years ago, this case eventually made its way to the US Supreme Court, where oral arguments were held earlier this term and a ruling is expected before the court adjourns the 20-21 term.

Shawn Askinosie, the Founder and CEO of [Askinosie Chocolate](https://askinosie.com/?ref=thechocolatelife.com) was my featured guest on Clubhouse on June 9th where we discussed the case – its origins, breadth and depth, and potential consequences.

The audio of the Clubhouse room was recorded live, lightly edited to remove *some* uhms, ahhs, and blank spaces, add some title cards (and corrections), and then uploaded to YouTube.

Click on the card to listen to the conversation and discussion.
