Spiced Vegan Dark Chocolate Avocado Truffles Recipe courtesy of FoodFanatic. The recipe is a bit imprecise, specifying “one avocado” which can vary quite a bit in terms of usable weight after removing the skin and pit. Please make sure it’s perfectly ripe and I recommend using only the Haas variety. Omitting the Grand Marnier, can also imagine using this as a spread on a hearty multi-grain toast as an alternative to avocado toast garnished with a bit of fresh citrus rind. (Really.)

When thinking of using this as a spread it also occurs to me you could omit the cayenne pepper in the recipe and garnish with cracked pink peppercorn.
