As I mentioned at the top of the page, the primary business reason I relocated to Prescott from Brooklyn back in 2023 was to work with Jessica and Christian, the founders of Orinoco. As sometimes happens, life gets in the way, and I am not as involved in their businesses (they also have a consulting arm that focuses on NPD and startup manufacturing) as we’d originally planned. But my impressions of the chocolate they make have always been high, and when I visited their factory last week, I picked up four bars and a *spalmabile* from their new Trufa Treats brand. (I also weighed in with some technical advice on how to approach the development of the first in a new line of bars that I think has great promise.) > When that new product is introduced, I will update this post. I will not be tasting the four bars before the episode goes live.
