Lars is *also* General Manager of the highly influential Nicaraguan cocoa producer, Ingemann Fine Cocoa. Some of the initial research in climate change mitigation that went into the development of the Agroclimatica platform was undertaken in Nicaragua.

Near La Dalia, Nicaragua during the first Ingemann Academia de Cacao in 2015\. When it comes to supporting activities that anticipate and mitigate risks associated with climate change in cacao, coffee, and other crops, it is experiences like this one that come to mind.

The Ingemann Fine Cocoa operation in Nicaragua has always emphasized farmer education not just in good agricultural practices but also business practices. Here we are learning of the five-year vision this cocoa farmer has for his land – expanding cacao growing and diversification.
