The idea for this episode comes from a video on the YouTube Channel *Intelligence Squared* titled: ***The Catholic Church is a Force for Good in the World***: Taking the negative position were the late Christopher Hitchens and Stephen Fry (pictured in the thumbnail). They are the reasons I watched the video when it came up in my feed as I know that irrespective of whether I agree with **what** they say I know I will appreciate ***how*** they frame and say it. For this episode I am asking members to take a side – affirmative or negative – and state your case in the comments: why you believe your position is the right one, and why you think we should believe your position is the right one. I want respondents to limit their arguments for either position in one comment. Respondents are, of course, able to argue both sides of the proposition, but I ask that it be done in separate comments. If you want to submit a comment in video format, please DM it to me and I will play it live during the episode. As with previous episodes in this series, the format will be my responding to your comments along with my own views.
