 And…since it was a B & W movie, the color didn’t matter — it just had to have the consistency of blood. I always thought it was red corn syrup — I’ve heard that’s what they use nowadays in blood scenes for TV, but usually that blood doesn’t have to “flow.” OK, I gotta get back to chocolate as food.

@vegforlife – chocolate syrup is used because it apparently flows – and mixes with water – the way blood does. Ketchup would not – it’s an entirely different consistency. And real blood? That’s just gross 🙂

@DiscoverChoc, I watched that movie fairly recently. Interesting to know that chocolate was used in the shower scene instead of blood/ketchup.
