(Nudge nudge wink wink.) In all, I have visited Brazil a total of four times. Twice in 2022 (Pará during one trip; Ilhéus and SP the other) and in 2020 (SP), catching one of the last flights out of Guarulhos before the border closed. During those visits, and at festivals in the US (NYC, Seattle) and Europe (Paris, Porto), I have had the great good fortune to meet with many members of the chocolate community, especially the Brazilian bean-to-bar community, which is *incredibly* vibrant.
