TheChocolateLife is hosted at Digital Ocean and built using Ghost with a customized version of the aEsto theme from Inoryum, Ltd in London.
Salehin Khan of Inoryum designed the aEsto theme, stood up the Ghost installation on Digital Ocean, helped migrate all of the content from Maven to Ghost, and did 99.9% of the theme customization (I did a little bit of the CSS – a tiny bit), and will be performing ongoing maintenance and providing future customization services.
Many of the images used for site navigation were downloaded from Unsplash. All of the images had their color manipulated using either Luminar 4 or Luminar AI. Some cropping was done in Luminar AI, the rest was done using Photoshop Elements 15. Final resizing for all images was done in Photoshop Elements 15.

Photos taken by me were taken on various Apple iPhones, from an iPhone 3 to an iPhone 11 Pro (with a 5, 6sPro, and XR in between). The Apple Camera app and the Hipstamatic app were (and are) the most commonly used photo apps, but I must have at least 30 photo apps on on my phone.
When necessary, I use the programming text editor Sublime to strip formatting from text before cutting and pasting into Ghost. One reason I use Sublime is for its regular expression search/replace capabilities.
All of the work I have done since mid-2015 has been done on my trusty 2015-era Apple MacBook Pro. I use four browsers for testing – in alphabetical order they are Brave, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
