Colophon
Because giving credit where credit is due is tight. [updated Nov 2025]
TheChocolateLife is built using Ghost with a customized version of the aEsto theme from Inoryum, Ltd in London.
Salehin Khan of Inoryum designed the aEsto theme, stood up the Ghost installation, helped migrate all of the content from Maven to Ghost, and did 99.9% of the theme customization (I did a little bit of the CSS – a tiny bit), and will be performing ongoing maintenance and providing future customization services.
Many of the images used for site navigation were downloaded from Unsplash.
All of the images had their color manipulated using either Luminar 4/AI/Neo. Final cropping and resizing for all images was done in Photoshop.
All photos taken by me were taken on various Apple iPhones, from an iPhone 3 to an iPhone 16 Pro (with a 5, 6sPro, XR, and 13 in between).
When necessary, I use the programming text editor Sublime to strip formatting from text before cutting and pasting into Ghost. One reason I use Sublime is for its regular expression search/replace capabilities.
All of the work I have done since mid-2015 has been done on my trusty 2015-era Apple MacBook Pro. I use six browsers for testing – in alphabetical order, they are Arc, Brave, Chrome, Dia, Firefox, and Safari.
