Episode 146 (The Final Episode of TCL LIVE) Overview

After nearly two years, this is the last episode of TheChocolateLifeLIVE. Beginning this Friday, November 17th, a new series – Pod Save Chocolate – will begin.

I can’t think of a better way to close out this run than to end it with a chocolate tasting. This past Sunday was the online tasting for the 2023 Craft Chocolat Challenge. Dustin Cornett, the founder of the Challenge, and I, spent over two hours talking about this year’s edition, the recently-launched 2024 edition of the challenge, and tasting bars eleven of the twelve winning bars (one company closed its doors since being awarded).

Along the way, I will be sharing the judging guidelines, some of the feedback the judges gave to the winning entries, and my thoughts as the head judge.
