Clay: I heard back this morning from the Managing Director of Bayer Feinwerk in Germany. After reviewing my machine's serial number, photographs, and measurements, he confirmed that my PFM 2000 is fully compatible with the current factory conversion kit, confirming that my unit can be factory-converted for operation with polycarbonate molds, clearing up much of the confusion surrounding the PFM 2000, PFM 2000B, and Universal versions.
The conversion kit includes:
- 1 lifting plate without centering device
- 1 ramp
- 8 nozzle rings (40 mm)
- 1 piston unit with 60 mm nozzle ring
The kit is currently available from stock for €995, plus approximately €150 shipping and is available from the manufacturer (Bayer Feinwerk) not the seller.
