Episode 79 Overview
While I do like researching and producing my monthly News & AMA segments I have a large collection of links to stories that either I don’t get to or that interest me but may not qualify as “news.”
I occasionally tune into the “Meanwhile...” segments from The Colbert Show on YouTube and I was inspired to collect random (and randumb) chocolate stuff and present them to you.
While I don’t expect this will become a regular monthly thing (though is certainly more than enough randumb stuff to fill hours of episodes), this is a pilot episode to try the out idea and have you tell me what you think. Thumbs 👍 up and you want me to do more of these or thumbs 👎 down – one episode was more than enough.

Hi Everyone! So here’s the update. We have not yet reached the funding goals we set for the Go Fund Me campaign, and unfortunately made the difficult decision to move forward without an Executive Director on staff for the time being. That budget relief is allowing us to stay active as an organization through the transition to a new board leadership with the potential to revise the mission, organization name, and membership benefits in the coming months. We are deeply grateful to all that Olja Hocevar Van Wely contributed, and wish her the best as she moves on to other endeavors. Your donations still make a difference, and are much needed to get through the year, as we have Cathy Ford still on staff as Manager of Member Services, and we have various administrative expenses involved just in keeping afloat.
