TheChocolateLifeLIVE – How Cool is COOL?
Episode 97 of #TheChocolateLifeLIVE streams from 12:00~13:00 EST on Friday, March 10th
COOL. Country of Origin Labeling. How Cool Is It?
More importantly, why is it a topic for discussion on TheChocolateLifeLIVE? After all we’ve been covering FDA announcements on plant-based milk alternatives (PBMAs) and what healthy means. Why still yet another FDA-related thing in short succession?
The primary reason is that I find it interesting. The secondary reason is that the USDA, on March 6th, proposed new requirements for “Product of USA” label claims.
This episode of TheChocolateLifeLIVE will feature a review of what I think is interesting about the proposed requirements (which have no obvious bearing on chocolate at all, but ... reasons) and how they might be interpreted to the benefit of craft chocolate makers and confectioners.
