Ruby Chocolate Comes to the US - Unofficially

Pink is not the first color that comes to mind when most people think of chocolate.

But fear not, the new, smoky rose-colored variety called “ruby chocolate” makes its North American debut at Central Market in Texas this month. The chain is the first (and perhaps the only) retailer in the US to sell the ruby chocolate line from Prestat, the London chocolatier favored by Britain’s royal family.

Ruby chocolate in the format preferred by chefs is not yet available in the US, which makes its availability via Central Market somewhat remarkable.
